He attended Syracuse University and worked professionally as an assistant sports director at WAER, a student-run radio station. During his final three years at Syracuse, Andrew worked part-time on WSYR Syracuse, covering fires and City Hall. He was a regular columnist for the Daily Orange, the main newspaper of Syracuse University, and he shared play-by-play responsibilities for WAER FM during Syracuse’s NCAA Men’s Division 1 basketball Final Four game versus Mississippi State in 1996. Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1996. Following his academic career, Andrew landed a dual anchor/reporter position at WMAQ-670 AM in Chicago, Illinois.
By 1999, Siciliano was hosting the Chicago Bears’ post-game discussion show on the now-defunct WMAQ. He co-hosted The Tony Bruno Morning Extravaganza and served as a fill-in anchor on other shows.
