Similar to other regions, Sumeru has a bunch of fishing spots where travelers can catch a variety of fish to cook their meals. With that said, we’ll show you every fishing spot location in Sumeru in Genshin Impact.
All Sumeru Fishing Spot Locations in Genshin Impact
As of writing, Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region has a total of seven fishing spots. Here’s a look at them:
Port Ormos
This spot is located in the southern part of the Sumeru region, and players can use the nearest teleport waypoint to fast travel to this location.
- Sunset Cloud Angler (nighttime)
- True Fruit Angler (daytime)
- Crystalfish (daytime)
- Sandstorm Angler
- Lazurite Axe Marlin
- Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin
Devantaka Mountain
Devantaka Mountain is also found in the southern part of the Sumeru region, and a total of four different fishes can be found at this location.
- Dawncatcher (nighttime only)

- Sunset Cloud Angler (nighttime only)
- True Fruit Angler (daytime only)
Near Vimara Village
Vimara Village is located near Devantaka Mountain, and players can find six different fishes at this spot.
- Lazurite Axe Marlin

- True Fruit Angler (daytime only)
- Medaka
Near Yazadaha Pool
This fishing spot is easily accessible as it’s located in the center of the Sumeru region. Here’s the list of fishes that players can find at this location:

- Akai Maou (daytime only)
- Sunset Cloud Angler (nighttime only)

Sumeru City
As the name suggests, this fishing spot lies in the heart of the city, and travelers can use the city’s main teleport waypoint to fast travel to this location. Here’s the list of fishes that players can find at this location:
- Dawncatcher (night time only)

- Sandstorm Angler
- Sunset Cloud Angler (night time only)
Southwest of Vanarana
Travelers can find this fishing spot near the river in the northern part of Sumeru. The location features the following fishes:

- Sunset Cloud Angler (nighttime only)
- Medaka
Mawtiyima Forest
The Mawtiyima Forest fishing spot is hard to access as it’s far away from the central point of the Sumeru region. Players can catch the following fishes at these locations:
- Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin
- Lazurite Axe Marlin
- Peach of the Deep Waves
- Sunset Cloud Angler (nighttime only)
