Secret Areas in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are hard to find places that require thorough exploration and use of your various traversal skills to reach. As a reward for seeking out and finding all of these areas you’ll net yourself some sweet XP.
In order to help you find every secret area in the game, we’ve put together this quick guide showing you the locations of each and every one. Where applicable we’ve noted the exact traversal skills you may need and, of course, you’ll also need to have progressed to a point in the story that you can access the part of the world map that we’ve shown for each one.

You’ll need to have unlocked the Wall Climbing Traversal Skill to get up to this dizzying location.

You’ll need the Wall Climbing Traversal Skill for this one.
Pentelas Region
Cotte Fountainhead
You need the Wall Climbing and Rope Sliding Traversal Skills to reach this one.
Hidden Freshwater Inlet

Holy Lid
You’ll need to have the Rope Sliding Traversal Skill here.
Grand Tower Skygarden
In order to get here, as shown in the second image below, take the lift from the lower floor.
