In a surprise announcement, EA announced that Apex Legends’s newest event will feature a humongous anime crossover. The Gaiden Event will see characters like Wattson, Mirage and Octane get their own anime inspired outfits as well as 40 other event themed cosmetics. This event also brings a new Mythic skin to spend your money on: Bangalore’s “Apex Commander” Prestige Skin. Are you a Bangalore main who’s been waiting for Bang to get a sick skin? Read on.
Getting Bangalore’s Apex Commander Prestige Skin in Apex Legends
In order to unlock the Apex Commander Prestige Skin, you must unlock all of 40 of the Gaiden Event’s cosmetics.
Mythic skins have been a bit of a thorn in the battle royale’s side since the Bloodhound skin was introduced a few months ago. There is no gameplay related way for you to unlock the skin during the event. You must dish out your hard earned cash to unlock every single cosmetic which, if we go back to the introduction of the Bloodhound Prestige Skin, it roughly cost $160 to unlock all of the cosmetics. With this event containing 40 total cosmetics that number may change so be sure to check back with us as we will keep you updated.
If you don’t want to spend the money on the skin, when the event concludes in August, the skin will most likely be added to the shop. However, it’ll cost you 150 Heirloom Shards.
